Passport endorsement:

Endorsement” means an official stamped, typed, or written indication of the circumstances under which a passport was issued or can be used. The bearer may also be provided with an information notice that provides more information on the endorsement.

An adult passenger can take out up to US$ 12,000 during a calendar year for global private travel. Out of that amount, up to US$ 5,000 or equivalent for travel to SAARC member countries and Myanmar and up to US$ 7,000 or equivalent for travel to other countries.

How much foreign currency can I endorse in the passport of Bangladesh?

According to Bangladesh Bank’s policy, any Bangladeshi citizen, under travel quota, can spend up to 12 thousand dollars in a year. One must endorse it in the passport. So, a Bangladeshi traveler can endorse Maximum US$ 5,000 for SAARC, US$ 7,000 for other countries.
